WELCOME TO JAC.weave

I create in my beautiful home studio, surrounded by an assortment of natural yarns, textiles, ceramics and natural dyes, all waiting for their turn either on the loom 

I am constantly learning and applying new techniques to find my own soul within these beautiful art forms. Naturally curious about our external world, I spend much of time foraging and exploring, noticing shapes, such as the rise and fall of tides and the movement of currents in and out of our shorelines, or the sway of a tall eucalypt and the play of its bark, or layers of a landscape, a sunrise or a sunset.

Fashion, architecture, ceramics and the wonderful world of art all inform and inspire my work, either on the loom or in the dye pots and I hope you find something within my dyed or woven stories to make you smile
